Novell's NetWare is a network operating system able to provide networking services ranging from simple file sharing to (in its latest version) network user, data, security, and resource management akin to Microsoft's Active Directory service.

Note: For information regarding Novell NetWare support, see the Knowledge Base document ARCHIVED: At IU, where can I find support for Novell NetWare?

NetWare 6.5 is Novell's most current network operating system. The minimum system requirements are: Pentium II or AMD K7 processor, 512MB of RAM, a Super VGA display adapter, a DOS partition of at least 200MB and 200MB of free space, 2GB of available, unpartitioned disk space outside the DOS partition for the sys volume, one network card, and a CD drive.
