ARCHIVED: At IUPUI, what was Bookbag?

This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Information here may no longer be accurate, and links may no longer be available or reliable.

Bookbag was a general purpose file server located on the IUPUI campus. Bookbag provided IUPUI students, faculty, and staff with 40MB of disk space each to store files. During fall 2002, Bookbag was replaced by a new file storage service, the CFS (Common File System). The CFS provides students, faculty, and staff with more storage space than Bookbag, has an easier-to-use interface, and is accessible from anywhere. On January 31, 2003, Bookbag was retired. For more information, see the Knowledge Base document ARCHIVED: If I had a Bookbag account, what do I need to know about moving to the CFS?
