In Lynx, how can I see the URL of the page I'm currently viewing, or the URL of the link that is currently selected?
While in Lynx, if you press = (the
equal sign), Lynx will display the URL and other
characteristics of the page you are currently viewing. It will also
display the address and name of the link that is currently selected,
if any.
You can also set the options in Lynx so that the currently selected link is always shown at the bottom of the screen. To do this, follow the steps below:
- In Lynx, press
o(the letter O), which will bring up the Options menu.
- Use your arrow keys to move to the
User modeoption, then pressEnterorReturn.
- In the pop-up menu that appears, use your arrow keys to select
Advanced. PressEnterorReturn.
- Use your arrow keys to select
Accept Changes. PressReturnorEnter.
