In Pine, the Pipe to Unix command lets you output the
contents of messages and attachments to Unix commands. Normally, you
use this command by pressing | (the pipe key)

or if you want to disable the Pipe to Unix command:
- Go to the Main Menu. From most screens, you can do this by typing
m.
- Press
sfor Setup, and thencfor Config.
- In the Setup Configuration menu, use your arrow keys to move to
"enable-unix-pipe-cmd". Then press
xto either enable or disable the command.
- Press
xfor Exit Config, and then pressyto save your change.
