ARCHIVED: After I request a CFS account, how long will I have to wait before I can use it?

Note: UITS has retired CFS. A new file storage service for researchers became available in a public test phase in fall 2005; for more information, see ARCHIVED: Research File System (RFS) at Indiana University Also, the AFS cell ovpit@indiana.edu is being decommissioned. It will be replaced by the OpenAFS cell IU.EDU.

If everything goes well with your account request, you should be able to start using your CFS file space 15 minutes after requesting it.
