At IU, how can I get RSS feeds of LISTSERV list archives?

The Indiana University LISTSERV web interface has RSS feeds of list archives that you can use with your web browser's built-in RSS reader or a third-party RSS reader.

To get RSS feeds of list archives:

  1. Log into the IU LISTSERV web interface; see At IU, how do I access the web interface for LISTSERV list management?

  2. From the top, select Subscriber's Corner.

  3. Under "List Names", select the name of the list for which you would like to set up RSS feeds.

  4. On the following page, in the lower right corner, click the desired feed (Atom, RSS1, or RSS2) to view it in your browser's RSS reader.

Note: If you do not see links for RSS feeds, the LISTSERV list does not have an archive created. Archives are known as notebooks in LISTSERV; the list owner must create a notebook for subscribers for RSS feeds to be available. For more information, see On my IU LISTSERV list, how can I create a list archive?

If you use a third-party application, simply copy and paste the resulting URL from the above instructions into your RSS reader.

Note: Due to LISTSERV's cookie-based authentication, access to private list archives using a third-party RSS reader is not currently supported at IU.
