On the TeraGrid, what is Abe?
On the TeraGrid, Abe
(login-abe.ncsa.teragrid.org) is the Intel 64 cluster at
the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). Abe is
intended for highly scalable parallel applications. It has 1,200
PowerEdge 1955 dual-socket, quad-core compute blades, an InfiniBand
interconnect, and 100TB of storage in a Lustre
filesystem.
For more, see the Abe user documentation.
Note: This is a TeraGrid Roaming resource. See the TeraGrid User Support documentation for a dynamically generated list of all Roaming resources.
For further information about compute and visualization resources on the TeraGrid, see the Resource Catalog in the TeraGrid User Support documentation.
