Finding help for statistical and mathematical computing at IU

For more information about statistical and mathematical software, email the UITS Stat/Math Center, visit the center's web page, or phone 812-855-4724 (IUB) or 317-278-4740 (IUPUI). The center is located in Bloomington at 410 N. Park Avenue, and is open for consultation by appointment Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

The Stat/Math Center, headed by Dr. John Samuel, gives consulting and acquisition advice for statistical and mathematical computing. If you know what sort of statistical procedures you want to use, the Stat/Math Center can help you select and use the appropriate software. The Stat/Math Center's documentation page is available at:

http://www.indiana.edu/~statmath/support/bydoc/

The Stat/Math Center provides limited support for the qualitative research software NVivo. For information on other qualitative research software, contact the Stat/Math Center.

The Indiana Statistical Consulting Center (ISCC), headed by Professor Michael Trosset, coordinates statistical consulting services including research design and data interpretation. For more information, email ISCC at  iscc@indiana.edu  or call 812-855-8526.

You can find statistical and mathematical computing documentation for reference and/or checkout for software supported at Indiana University at various libraries. For locations and titles, visit:
